• Volunteer In Palestine assists participants in reaching the center in Hebron after arriving at Ben Gurion Airport by either using public transportation or arranging a private taxi from the airport to the center.
  • On the first day, the center staff welcomes the new volunteers and helps them settle into their accommodation in Hebron (either in an apartment or with a host family).
  • Volunteers have Fridays and Saturdays off each week.
  • During weekends, the Center can assist volunteers in organizing visits to other areas in Palestine.
  • Breakfast is served daily at the center, starting at 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM.

First Week for the Volunteer:

  • Attend Arabic lessons in the morning.
  • Write about their motivations for coming to Palestine and choosing this Law program.
  • Visit historical sites in Hebron to understand the city’s history and challenges under occupation, including the Old City of Hebron and the Ibrahimi Mosque.

Second Week for the Volunteer:

  • Attend introductory meetings and a comprehensive presentation on law in Palestine.
  • Visit Palestinian lawyers to hear about their experiences working in Palestine.
  • Visit Palestinian courts to learn about the judicial system in Palestine.
  • Visit human rights organizations working in the field of law and human rights.
  • Visit various locations to observe the reality of life and the impact of the Israeli occupation on these areas.

Fourth Week for the Volunteer:

  • Participate in the center’s weekly dinner with all volunteers and students at the center.
  • At the end of the program, the volunteer receives a certificate from the center during a farewell gathering with the Center staff and other volunteers.
  • Assist the Center in implementing community activities (e.g., helping teach English to students as a teaching assistant).
  • Conduct workshops on legal topics for students or at universities.
  • Write articles about Palestine, focusing on law, human rights, and the reality of life in Palestine, particularly the impact of the Israeli occupation.
  • The Center assists the volunteer in arranging transportation to and from the airport at the end of the program, using public transportation or a private taxi for convenience.
  • The center staff is always ready to assist the volunteer to ensure their safety, comfort, and overall positive experience.
